I just wanted to express my annoyance at those that are continuing to DDOS the Liberty Reserve website. I don't see what anyone gains from sending this type of attack to an e-currency such as liberty reserve. Its just a pain.
Oh well, hopefully will be better tomorrow.

HYIP advertising Prices
Since I don't run hyips myself, this isn't something that I look at too frequently but every now and then I decide to have a look at the advertising prices that are listed online at some of the major hyip advertising sites. These include sites such as Talkgold and MMG.
One thing that I have noticed recently is that the prices are way too high for the current performance of the hyip arena. For anyone who knows anything about economics, you will know that when advertising isn't selling, you should lower your prices to reach the supply and demand equilibrium. Since the supply of advertising on all of the sites is fixed, the price is the only thing that should be adjusted.
If one looks at one of the major hyip forums they will notice that almost all of the banners are either free or taken by the admins themselves. Also in the paid sticky area there is only one single sticky post.
Hopefully in the near future the prices of advertising will lower down to a more reasonable rate. Then I might be able to promote my blog. ;)

Exchange Service Providers
If you are new to hyips, or even if you have been investing with them for a while you are probably always looking for a reliable way to get your money out of e-gold, liberty reserve or V-money. Well the first thing that I would like to mention here is that e-gold has been difficult to liquidate ever since last April when charges were brought before them in regards to money laundering and operating an unlicensed money transfer business.
Therefore, if you have any money online it is usually best to store it in either Webmoney or Liberty Reserve. You should also fund these ecurrencies when you are buying them. It is better to have webmoney, which can be exchanged to make a profit of around 5% if you need e-gold, rather than purchasing e-gold which will automatically incur a 10%+ fee when you are trying to out exchange.
In terms in and out exchanging the best services that I have used are Goldex.net, Londongoldexchange.com and goldexchange.eu.
LGE (London Gold Exchange) is now only good for those residing in the UK as they have restricted new sign ups to that location only. The other two are fairly good. The only major issue that you will encounter with Goldex is extremely slow service and poor customer support. That being said, if you are willing to wait you will find that their fees are cheaper than most of the other sites out there.
In terms of automatic exchanges, I used to preach autocambist, however their fees have become unreal. So I would recommend the Russian automatic exchange provider, roboxchange.com.
Either way my last piece of advice is to avoid V-money. Personally it reminds me a little too much of evocash and I have suspicions around the owners.

No Big Hyips
If you have been visiting the major hyip forums recently, you will have probably noticed that the most expensive advertising is all available and has been so for at least the past month. What does this mean? Well it is a clear sign that the hyip arena is a in a dead period with very few large hyips. With few large hyips, there really are very few surefire places where you should invest.
When a new large hyip comes out, it is usually safe to say that it will be online for a while and that your investment will be relatively safe, regardless of whether the investment is real or rather a ponzi. However with the lack of big hyips that spend thousands on advertising there really is a void that should be filled.
Luckily the time that I call the Hyip New Year is right around the corner. This is a period around the beginning of February each year when loads of larger new hyips seem to crop up. Hopefully this year will be the same... as without the big ones I have little to talk about. ;)

A New Year: A New Change in Hyips
Over the past year we have seen some of the worst times for hyips since I first got into them over five years ago. Between some of the major scams like Feeder Fund and Please Invest we basically had nothing to enjoy. I have to say that 2007 was the year of 220802898087 Hyips. Everyone and their dog was making a hyip this year, using the infamous Gold Coders hyip script. That is one thing that I hate about the hyip arena. Things really have gone sour in a way. When the arena is full of hundreds of new scams that crop up every day, it is pretty much impossible for anyone to make any money or have any confidence in any hyip for that matter.
In recent months I have started looking at some alternative hyip "hangouts" rather than the typical MMG and TG that seem to have become infested with scammers from third world countries. One of the places that I have to recommend is Private Hyips. (www.privatehyips.com).
Private Hyips used to be a website owned by Brian and the Talkgold crew, however it was sold about a year ago to the Global Forum Network, who revived it. The GFN crew is basically everyone from Web Life. From my experience, Private Hyips is a great website to find some smaller private hyips that can be taken a little more seriously. The admins are actually real people from the western world rather than your typical Romanian or Russian scammer.
Anyway, with that being said I really hope that the New Year brings some changes to the hyip arena. Basically the number of scams that are being produced each day needs to be brought back down into reason. One way for this to happen would be for Brian to start regulating things on his forum... yet we all know that he is a little too greedy for that and unable to see the big picture in the long run.
So is there any hope? You tell me...
